Shopping Tips

Shopping for unique, one of a kind pottery takes time and consideration. For this reason, we try to provide a preview for all sales to avoid the “stampede” of online shoppers when the “doors open” to the sale.

While shopping be advised:

  • Having a customer account with our store is not necessary for check out, but if you'd like to get a head start on making check out easier and faster, you can create an account at any time. This will allow you an “express” checkout and if you ever shop this store again your account information will be saved. Click here to create an account

  • Use the shop filters for quick access to “Plates”, “Mugs”, etc

  • During the PREVIEW you may see all of the details of the pieces and even save the URL to come directly to the item page when the shop is LIVE, but you won’t be able to reserve or pre-purchase the item.

  • The availability of the pots in your cart can only be confirmed upon completing the checkout process; before that, the pots in your cart are not reserved from general availability

The attic

Please look carefully at the image of pots in the Attic. These pots have been reduced because of a minor flow. Think Grade B. Despite their blemishes they are fully functional. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

 

Shipping Information

  • Orders will be shipped within 1 week of payment. We carefully package each piece of pottery so that it arrives safely and use 100% paper products to ship your order reducing waste and making it easier for you to recycle. Shipping calculations at checkout will reflect this cost as paper and cardboard are slightly heavier than styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap.

  • if you buy more than one piece, and the pottery can be shipped in one box, we will do everything possible to consolidate your order and refund significant overage in shipping charges.

  • If you are nearby and would like to pick up your pottery, we can arrange for safe “porch-side” pickup following safe social distancing guidelines. Use the code LOCAL during checkout to waive shipping costs.

  • Most all orders are shipped vis US Priority Mail. If your order is large and it is more economical to ship via UPS or FED EX we will do so and review your charges accordingly.

  • You will receive tracking information within 24 hours of shipping.

  • International shipping is available, but may be subject to additional fees and custom duties. Please note that international customers are responsible for all of these fees. By law, we must mark international packages as "Merchandise."

  • Michael Kline Pottery is not responsible for any lost and abandoned packages. In the event of a stolen package, refunds will not be provided. Please ensure a secure shipping location is provided at checkout.

 

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied, I will refund the price of the pottery only. The customer is expected to pay for the return shipment, and pottery must arrive unbroken before a refund is made.
